EMERGENCY CRISIS RESPITE
Sometimes, children need somewhere safe to stay at very short notice. For some, it will be the first time they come into Department care. Others may need somewhere to stay while other suitable care arrangement is found. Whatever the reason, children in emergency care have usually experienced trauma, abuse or grief and need to feel safe and secure at what is likely to be a stressful and very difficult time.
