Planned Respite

CareUpp Planned respite gives the young people and their care givers some space and time to do things independently. The respite also helps and support and maintain the primary caregiving relationship whilst providing a positive experience for the person receiving care. Care givers may be a parent, foster parent, another family member. Duration 1 day to 6 weeks

Planned respite options can include:

  • day activities including social and recreational opportunities
  • in-home support
  • holiday activities
  • skills development and referrals to courses
  • advocacy
